Your stream reaches all platforms at once:

Twitch
YouTube
Facebook
TikTok

All from one control panel

How Restream Works

Your Shoutcast Net server acts as the central hub. Instead of pushing separate streams to each platform from your computer, you push a single stream to your server and the server distributes it to Twitch, YouTube, Facebook, and more — simultaneously.

Copy keys from each platform dashboard

Go live on all platforms at once

Step 1 — Get Your Stream Keys

Each platform generates a unique stream key that authorises your server to broadcast to it. Get keys only from the platforms you want to broadcast to.

Twitch Stream Key

  1. Go to dashboard.twitch.tv and sign in.
  2. Click Settings in the left sidebar.
  3. Click the Stream tab.
  4. Click Show Key to reveal and copy your Primary Stream Key.

YouTube Stream Key

  1. Go to studio.youtube.com and sign in.
  2. Click Go Live (camera icon, top right).
  3. Select Stream from the options.
  4. Under Stream key, click Copy.

Facebook Stream Key

  1. Go to facebook.com/live/producer and sign in.
  2. Click Create Live Video.
  3. Select Go Live Now with streaming software.
  4. Under Stream Key, copy the generated key.
Keep your stream keys private. Anyone with your stream key can broadcast to your account. Never share them publicly.

Step 2 — Configure Restream in Your Control Panel

Log in to your Shoutcast Net control panel and add your stream keys.

Audio CP URL https://[YOUR SERVER HOST]/audio/
Video CP URL https://[YOUR SERVER HOST]/video/
Username [YOUR USERNAME]
Password [YOUR CONTROL PANEL PASSWORD]
  1. Log in to your control panel.
  2. Click the EDIT button.
  3. Scroll down to find the Restream Settings section (platforms listed: Twitch, YouTube, Facebook, TikTok, etc.).
  4. For each platform you want to use:
    • Set Enable to Yes.
    • Paste your Stream Key in the corresponding field.
  5. Click EDIT SERVER (or Save) to store your settings.

Step 3 — Start Restreaming

Before clicking RESTREAM, make sure your source is already live:

Audio Server

  • AutoDJ must be running, OR
  • A live DJ must be connected via Mixxx/VirtualDJ.
  • A static image is added automatically for social platforms that require video.

Video Server

  • AutoDJ must be running, OR
  • OBS Studio or VirtualDJ must be connected and streaming.
  • Restream will not start without an active video source.

Go Live on All Platforms:

  1. Go to HOME in your control panel.
  2. Click the RESTREAM button.
  3. Your stream will now appear on all configured platforms within 10–30 seconds.

Stop Restreaming:

  1. Go to HOME in your control panel.
  2. Click the RESTREAM STOP button — the stream will end on all platforms.
All configured platforms receive your stream instantly. You can enable or disable individual platforms at any time via the EDIT page without stopping your main stream.

Step 4 — Verify Each Platform

After clicking RESTREAM, open the dashboard of each platform to confirm your stream is live:

Platform Where to Check Expected Delay
Twitch dashboard.twitch.tv → Stream Manager 10–20 seconds
YouTube studio.youtube.com → Live Dashboard 15–30 seconds
Facebook facebook.com/live/producer 10–20 seconds

Troubleshooting

RESTREAM Button is Greyed Out
  • Your source stream must be active before clicking RESTREAM.
  • Start AutoDJ (audio/video) or connect your encoder (Mixxx/OBS) first.
  • Confirm at least one platform is set to Enable: Yes in the EDIT page.
Platform Is Not Receiving the Stream
  • Double-check your stream key — they expire or can be reset by each platform.
  • Generate a new stream key from the platform dashboard and re-paste it in EDIT.
  • Some platforms (especially YouTube) require your account to be verified for live streaming — check your account status.
Audio Restream Has No Video on Facebook/YouTube
  • Social platforms require a video stream — your Shoutcast Net server automatically adds a static image (background) to the audio when restreaming.
  • You can customise this image in the EDIT page if your plan supports it.
