What You Need

Stream to YouTube Live
Step 1: Enable YouTube Live
- Go to YouTube Studio
- Click Create → Go Live
- First time: Enable live streaming (may take 24 hours for verification)
- Once enabled, access your stream settings
Step 2: Get YouTube Stream Key
- In YouTube Studio, click Go Live
- Select Stream (not Webcam or Mobile)
- Click Create New Stream or select existing
- Copy your Stream Key (keep this private!)
- Note the Stream URL (usually rtmp://a.rtmp.youtube.com/live2)
Step 3: Configure Virtual DJ
- Open Virtual DJ and click Settings ⚙️ (top right)
- Go to Broadcasting tab
- Select YouTube Live from platform dropdown
- Paste your stream key in the Stream Key field
- Set video quality:
720p @ 30fpsor1080p @ 30fps - Set video bitrate:

Step 4: Start Broadcasting
- In Virtual DJ main interface, click the Broadcast button 📡
- Wait 10-15 seconds for connection to establish
- Go to YouTube Studio → Stream Dashboard to see your live stream
- Click Go Live on YouTube when ready for audience
Stream to Twitch
Step 1: Get Twitch Stream Key
- Log into Twitch Dashboard
- Go to Settings → Stream
- Under Primary Stream Key, click Copy
- Keep this private - it's your broadcast password
